David Hales was born in Poughkeepsie, New York.
He attended Pratt Institute and Columbia University
earning a Masters degree in painting.
Since then, he has been the Co-owner of Drummond Framing, Inc.
During this time he has continued to exhibit his work, having several
one person shows and participating in numerous group exhibitions.
His work is included in many private collections around the world.
